In January 2020 I was preparing to move to San Francisco from Orange County, CA (for my non-CA folks, it’s about a 7 hour drive from each other). I wasn’t sure how much longer I would be working on Wyzerr so I decided that the best thing to do was move to an area that had a lot of tech jobs so in the event that I had to close Wyzerr down, I had a lot of options for work. I also wanted to be closer to my friends. At the time, I couldn’t really afford a nice SF apartment but I believed in faith that God would give me a place if it was meant to for me to live there. I wasn’t on the best terms with my son’s dad, Dave. In fact, we weren’t speaking at all so he was pretty much left out of this decision-making process until the last minute.
